When you've got a label/producers to satisfy, you're more than likely to be asked to do a few things you don't want every now and then. If that means throwing on a little excess rouge and gyrating the hips suggestively...well...make money.
I know, Yuppie-Nuremberg defense, everyone's got a mortgage to pay. At some point though, if she doesn't want people to believe she's...hoeish, she'd put her foot down. So to some degree she has to like being a little overly provacative.
